About Our Owner – Benjamin Rogers
I am a fourth-generation resident of north central Alabama. After moving several times for education purposes, I settled back in Alabama. I soon married a local girl, and we started a family together.
Business in general, and entrepreneurship in particular, has long interested me. My first business was a lawn care service that I started as a teenager to pay for college. Later ventures included a small real estate investing company and a healthcare consulting business.
While those were all solo endeavors, one thing that excites me about Brothers Gutters is the opportunity to start a company that offers good jobs with clear career advancement potential to motivated individuals in my community. Having worked in construction during and after college, I know that there are talented people in the home improvement field who will value the career opportunities and training that Brothers Gutters offers.
Brothers Gutters’ motto of “reinventing contractor services” also appeals to me. As a homeowner who has had many disappointing experiences with contractors, I know that home improvement can be done better. Homeowners deserve timely, skilled, and reliable contractors who place them at the center of their business model.
We offer value to our customers while helping them protect their homes from water. We do this by creating a plan with them, giving them transparent pricing, doing quality work that is warrantied, and communicating well. How It All Began
Ken Parsons started his own gutter contracting company called Waterfall Seamless Gutters in 1999 after leaving the teaching industry. In 2002, his younger brother Ryan Parsons joined him after the graphic design company he was working for went bankrupt. The company briefly changed its name to Water-flow Gutter Solutions in 2006 before settling on “The Brothers that just do Gutters” in 2009, a name that came from a popular radio ad. Along with the name change, the company also changed its titles to Solutionists©, with Ken becoming Senior Solutionist© and Ryan becoming Chief Solutionist©.
