Marcus Britton is the proud local owner of The Brother that just do Gutters of East Houston, Texas. He and his wife, Jennifer, are proud to be able to offer their local community gutter services that will ultimately help to keep their homes safe, secure, and looking beautiful for years to come.
Marcus is a southern native who was raised in a very entrepreneurial home and has always had the passion and drive to create a family business that could benefit his local community. Throughout his career, he has been primarily involved with the industrial water treatment solution industry, working with Kurita America, the NCH Corporation, and Chem-Aqua. Here, he has handled a wide variety of responsibilities, including sales, customer relationships, inventory, and more.
When he’s not working to find his clients the best gutter solutions, you’ll find Marcus spending time with his beautiful wife Jennifer and their three sons, volunteering at their church, or staying active together at their local martial arts studio.
The Brothers that just do Gutters of East Houston offer gutter cleaning, repair, new gutter installation, and so much more. Marcus recommends his clients consider 6-inch half-round gutters and copper gutters which can elevate the look of a home while simultaneously increasing the drainage output. Marcus understands that someone’s home is truly an extension of themselves, which is why his team treats every home as if it were their own, with care and respect.
Marcus and his team are passionate about living up to the Brothers motto of “reinventing contractor service;” their goal is to provide the best experience possible from the first click to the final review. They do not consider the job finished until they’ve satisfied their clients’ needs and added value through every interaction. The Brothers team help homeowners protect their home from preventable perils and leave their home more beautiful than when they started.
How It All Began
In 1999 Ken Parsons had just left the teaching industry and started his own gutter contractor company under the name Waterfall Seamless Gutters. In 2002 Ken’s younger brother, Ryan Parsons, accepted a job on the truck with Ken after the Graphic Design company he was working for crashed. In 2006 the Brothers briefly changed their name to Water-flow Gutter Solutions before finally becoming “The Brothers that just do Gutters” in 2009. The name we all know and love came from a radio ad the Brothers ran just a couple years prior to the change. Everyone who heard it liked it so much they thought it was the company name so Ken and Ryan stopped fighting it and adopted the name. With the name change came a few title changes as well. We decided we no longer wanted to be salesman, presidents or owners but rather Solutionists©, which embodied what we represent to our clients. Ken Parsons was re-entitled Senior Solutionist©, and Ryan Parsons became Chief Solutionist©.
Being in the gutter contractor business for over 15 years was an effort of adaptation and determination. We have been able to be successful for so long because we made our main focus the customer. The Brothers that just do Gutters offer a wide variety of installations, cleaning and repairs in a small niche industry of seamless rain gutters and leaf guards. We have been able to grow the reliability of our services and offer only the best products by focusing all our effort on gutter systems and guards.
